Virtual Currency & Lures Policy

1. Purpose

This Virtual Currency & Lures Policy explains how Sand Dollars ("SD"), the official virtual currency of Look to Hook, may be purchased and used within the Service.

Look to Hook is free to join and use. Purchasing Sand Dollars is entirely optional.

By purchasing or using Sand Dollars, you agree to this Policy, our Terms of Service, and any additional policies governing the Service.

2. Why We Use Sand Dollars

Look to Hook is designed so that everyone can participate without paying a subscription.

Fish can use the Service at no cost, and Fishers can create and participate in Hook Events without a recurring membership fee.

Users who wish to enhance their experience may choose to purchase Sand Dollars, which can be redeemed for optional Lures.

Revenue generated through optional Sand Dollar purchases helps support the continued operation, maintenance, development, moderation, and improvement of the Service.

Purchasing Sand Dollars is never required to use Look to Hook.

3. What Are Sand Dollars?

Sand Dollars ("SD") are the official virtual currency of Look to Hook.

Sand Dollars:

• may be purchased using real-world currency through authorized payment providers;
• are stored in your in-app Wallet;
• may only be redeemed within Look to Hook;
• are not legal tender;
• are not a bank account;
• are not stored-value or prepaid financial products;
• have no cash value;
• are non-transferable;
• are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Purchasing Sand Dollars grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them within the Service. You do not acquire ownership rights in Sand Dollars.

4. Purchasing Sand Dollars

Sand Dollars may be purchased through authorized payment methods available within the Service. Prices are displayed before purchase.

Applicable taxes, fees, or platform charges may be added where required.

Purchases made through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized marketplaces are also subject to the terms and policies of those platforms.

Look to Hook LLC reserves the right to modify pricing, available purchase packages, promotions, or purchasing options at any time.

5. Your Wallet

Purchased Sand Dollars are credited to your Wallet after successful payment processing. Your Wallet balance may be viewed within the Service.

It is your responsibility to safeguard access to your account. Look to Hook LLC is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised account credentials or failure to maintain account security.

Unless otherwise stated, purchased Sand Dollars remain associated with your account while your account remains active and in good standing.

6. Redeeming Sand Dollars

Sand Dollars may currently be redeemed for eligible Lures available within the Service.

When you redeem Sand Dollars:

• the applicable number of Sand Dollars is deducted from your Wallet;
• the selected Lure becomes available for use immediately (unless otherwise stated);
• the redemption is considered final.

Look to Hook LLC may introduce additional redeemable virtual features in the future.

7. What Are Lures?

Lures are optional virtual features that allow Fishers to personalize or refine their Hook Events.

Examples include:

• Age Lure
• Gender Lure
• Range Lure

Additional Lures may be introduced, modified, or discontinued over time. Lures are optional convenience features.

Using a Lure does NOT guarantee:

• another member will view your Hook;
• another member will Nibble;
• another member will communicate with you;
• another member will attend your Hook Event;
• compatibility with another member;
• successful matches or relationships.

Purchasing or redeeming Lures does not guarantee any particular outcome.

8. No Ownership or Monetary Value

Neither Sand Dollars nor Lures:

• constitute property;
• represent money;
• have external value;
• may be redeemed for cash;
• may be sold;
• may be exchanged;
• are transferable;
• can be inherited.

Lures are designed to help Fishers save time and personalize their experience. They are optional tools intended to enhance the Service—not to provide an advantage that guarantees attention, responses, or success. They exist solely for use within Look to Hook.

9. Refunds

Purchases of Sand Dollars are generally final.

Because Sand Dollars are credited immediately to your Wallet and may be redeemed instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable.

Refunds may be provided only:

• where required by applicable law;
• through Apple, Google, or another authorized marketplace in accordance with their refund policies; or
• at the sole discretion of Look to Hook LLC.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

10. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks

To protect the integrity of the Service, Look to Hook LLC may investigate suspicious purchasing activity, including fraudulent purchases, stolen payment information, chargeback abuse, and balance manipulation.

If fraudulent activity is suspected, Look to Hook LLC may:

• remove Sand Dollars;
• revoke redeemed Lures;
• suspend purchasing privileges;
• suspend or terminate accounts;
• cooperate with payment processors or law enforcement where appropriate.

11. Account Suspension or Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated due to violations of the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, your access to Sand Dollars and redeemed Lures may also be suspended or terminated.

Unused Sand Dollars and redeemed Lures may be forfeited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Changes to Sand Dollars & Lures

Look to Hook LLC may, at any time:

• introduce new Lures;
• retire existing Lures;
• modify Lure functionality;
• change Sand Dollar pricing;
• offer promotional Sand Dollars;
• introduce new virtual features; or
• discontinue certain virtual offerings.

Such changes may occur without prior notice unless otherwise required by law.
