Delete Your Account in the App

If you still have access to your Look to Hook account:

1. Sign in to Look to Hook.
2. Open Me.
3. Go to Profile Settings.
4. Scroll to Delete Account.
5. Follow the confirmation instructions.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request Account Deletion Without the App

If you no longer have access to the Look to Hook app, you may request deletion of your account here.

Please provide the email address or phone number associated with your Look to Hook account.

For your security, we may contact you using the email address or phone number associated with your account to confirm that you are the account owner before completing the deletion.

You may also contact us at support@looktohook.net with the subject Account Deletion Request.

What Will Be Deleted

When your Look to Hook account is deleted, we permanently remove applicable account data associated with your account, including:

• Your Look to Hook profile and account information
• Profile and Reef photos
• Fish avatar and associated profile customization data
• Home Harbor and SONAR location data
• Baited Hooks and Nibbles associated with your account
• Bubble Chat conversations and messages
• Date experience records
• Reviews and feedback associated with your account
• Referral and invitation records
• Authentication credentials and linked login methods
• Remaining Sand Dollar wallet and applicable virtual-item data

Deletion may also remove other information directly associated with your account that is no longer needed to provide the Look to Hook service.

Processing Time

In-app account deletion is normally processed immediately after confirmation.

Deletion requests submitted through this website may require verification that you control the Look to Hook account. Once verified, we will process the request as promptly as reasonably possible.

If additional time is required, we will notify you.

Data We May Be Required to Retain

In limited circumstances, Look to Hook may retain certain information when required or permitted by law, or when reasonably necessary for purposes such as fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, or regulatory compliance.

Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary for those purposes and will not remain available as an active Look to Hook profile.
